Privacy policy
What we collect when you buy a stand or use this site, why we hold it, how long we keep it, and how to get it removed.

Who we are
EvoMaxTap is a sole trader business operating the website evomaxtap.com, selling NFC Google review stands. For the purposes of UK data protection law we are the data controller for the personal data described here.
Contact for any privacy question, or to exercise the rights below: sales@evomaxtap.com, or write to us at 4 Kenwood Crescent, Stockton on Tees, North Yorkshire, TS17 5BS, United Kingdom.
What we collect
Order information
When you order a stand, our payment provider Stripe collects your name, email address, delivery address and payment details. Stripe processes the card payment; we never see or store your full card number. We receive your name, email address, delivery address and a record that payment succeeded, so we can fulfil and ship the order.
Your business details
To programme your stand we ask for your business name and your Google review link. Both are public business information rather than personal data in most cases, but where a business name includes your own name we treat it as personal data and handle it the same way as the rest of your order.
We email you about your order: confirmation, dispatch, and anything we need to check before programming. If you opt in, we also send occasional marketing emails about products and guides. Marketing is opt-in only, and every marketing email carries an unsubscribe link that takes effect immediately.
Enquiries
If you email us or use a contact form, we keep that correspondence and the address you sent it from so we can answer and refer back to it later.
Analytics and cookies
We use analytics (Google Analytics) to understand how many people visit, which pages they read and where they arrive from. This sets cookies and collects usage data including approximate location, device type, browser and pages viewed. It is not used to identify you personally.
Cookies fall into two groups. Essential cookies make the site and checkout work and are always on. Analytics and marketing cookies are optional, are only set with your consent, and can be refused or withdrawn at any time through the cookie banner or your browser settings. Refusing them does not affect your ability to buy.
Why we can use it
- Performance of a contract: order details and your review link, used to fulfil and ship your order.
- Legal obligation: sales and tax records we are required to retain.
- Consent: marketing emails, and analytics or marketing cookies.
- Legitimate interests: answering enquiries, preventing fraud, and keeping the site secure and working.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing. We do use service providers who process data on our behalf:
- Stripe: payment processing and checkout.
- Delivery carriers: your name and delivery address, so the stand reaches you.
- Email and hosting providers: sending order and marketing email, and serving this website.
- Google Analytics: website usage statistics.
Some of these providers operate outside the UK. Where data is transferred abroad it is protected by UK adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses. We may also disclose data where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
- Order and transaction records: six years from the end of the relevant tax year, as required for accounting.
- Business name and review link: for as long as you are a customer, so we can reprogramme your stand free if your link changes. Ask and we will delete it sooner.
- Marketing contacts: until you unsubscribe.
- Enquiries: two years from the last message.
- Analytics: as configured in Google Analytics, currently 14 months.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or send it to another provider in a portable format. Where we rely on consent you can withdraw it at any time without affecting anything done before you did.
Email sales@evomaxtap.com and we will respond within one month. Requests are free. If you are not satisfied with our answer you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Security
Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe over an encrypted connection. Our own records are held in access-controlled accounts. No system is perfectly secure, but we keep the data we hold to the minimum the order requires.
Children
This is a business-to-business product and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
Changes
If this policy changes we update the date at the top of this page. Material changes affecting how we use data you have already given us will be notified by email where we hold your address.
